Help us by calling early and planning ahead wherever possible; please telephone in the afternoons for non urgent appointments when the phones are less busy.
Our doctors are available every week-day and appointments with them may be made between 8.00 am and 6.00pm, Monday – Friday.
If your preferred doctor is not available, you may be offered an appointment with another doctor.
If you need an appointment the same day, please tell the receptionist; however, we have asked our staff to book patients in for a routine appointment if they do not disclose their concerns. Once we know the reason, we are happy to offer an earlier slot if we feel the problem needs urgent attention.
This is the new policy at the Surgery aimed at cutting down on the number of telephone calls the doctors take.
Our staff have been instructed to deal with telephone calls in this way, and would ask for your cooperation.
Use myGP app to book appointments, cancel appointments and receive appointment reminders. Please ensure that your mobile number is correct with our surgery.
Seven Day Access to Routine Primary Care Services Out of Hours GP and Practice Nurse appointments are available at St. Marks Hospital in Maidenhead and King Edwards VII Hospital in Windsor. Contact our appointments desk 01753 860335 or 860336 to book Weekdays 18:30 - 21:00 Saturdays 09:00 - 17:00 Sundays 11:00 - 16:00 Please note this is not a walk-in-service, patients must book hub appointments via their GP practice appointment desk.
HOW TO BOOK ONLINE APPOINTMENTS FOR DOCTORS ONLY
- Go to https://patient.emisaccess.co.uk/account/login
- You must register first:
- Below the question 'Have you received a registration letter from your practice?', select No.
- Type in your post code, press next and select the practice at “21 Sheet Street”
- Fill out your registration details, create a password (at least 8 character, at least one number, one letter and one capital letter) and accept the terms and conditions
- Select security questions and your unique answers
If you complete the security questions, you'll be able to reset your own password if you forget it in the future. If you don't complete them, you'll need to ask the practice to reset your account.
- Make a note of the user ID that's generated for you, as you'll use this to sign in to Patient Access from now on.
To complete the registration and get a fully active Patient Access account, take proof of identity to the surgery and ask us to complete your registration.
Once you are fully registered you can Book appointments/ Request repeat prescriptions/ Access your patient records by logging in at https://patient.emisaccess.co.uk/account/login
