Poppy Team Community Midwives (f)

Our regular midwife Lucy and the Poppy team provide midwifery services during pregnancy, labour and after delivery.

There are two clinics at the surgery a week - on Wednesday afternoons and Friday mornings. The initial ‘booking’ appointment is an hour long consultation to discuss screening tests and place of delivery; subsequent appointments are for 20 minutes.

Community Nurses

District nurses are specialists who provide treatment, promote health and prevention of disease at home for people who are unable to attend the surgery.
